What the Bleep
Joe Dispenza, D.C., is a chiropractor and one of the principal teachers in the hit movie What the BLEEP Do We Know!? He studied biochemistry at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in neuroscience. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia, graduating magna cum laude. Dr. Dispenza’s postgraduate training and continuing education has been in neurology, neuroscience, brain function and chemistry, cellular biology, memory formation, and aging and longevity.
Over the last ten years, Dr. Dispenza has lectured in more than 24 different countries, on six continents, educating people about the role and function of the human brain. He has taught thousands how to reprogram their thinking through scientifically proven neurophysiological principles. As a result, many individuals have learned to reach their specific goals and visions by eliminating self-destructive habits. His approach, taught using a very simple method, creates a bridge between true human potential and the latest scientific theories of neuroplasticity. Dr. Dispenza explains how thinking in new ways, as well as changing beliefs, can literally rewire one’s brain. His work is founded in his total conviction that within every person on this planet is the latent potential of greatness and true unlimited abilities. His most recent book is You Are the Placebo.

Bill Harris
A graduate of Portland State University, Bill also has three years of graduate study in music, studying with world-renowned Czech composer Tomas Svoboda and Spanish composer Salvador Brotons. He is a Certified Trainer of Neuro Linguistic Programming and is trained in Ericksonian Hypnosis. He is a long time student of contemporary psychology, Eastern philosophy, the physical sciences, the evolution of non-linear systems (chaos theory), and the effects of a wide range of neurotechnologies on human change, evolution and healing. He is known for his ability to explain difficult subjects in an engaging and easy to understand way.
Bill is a frequent speaker at scientific and transformational forums and conferences across the U.S. and around the world, and over the years has taught a wide range of workshops and seminars. In the past he has conducted his own private therapy practice utilizing cognitive psychology, Neuro Linguistic Programming, and other approaches. Bill is currently President and Director of Centerpointe Research Institute. Bill started Centerpointe Research Institute in 1989 with borrowed recording equipment set up on his kitchen table. Today, over one million people in 193 countries have used Centerpointe programs to improve their lives, and he has become one of the best-known personal growth teachers in the world.

Preventive Medicine Research Institute
Dean Ornish, MD, is the founder and president of the nonprofit Preventive Medicine Research Institute in Sausalito, Calif. He is clinical professor of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. Ornish received his medical training in internal medicine from the Baylor College of Medicine, Harvard Medical School, and the Massachusetts General Hospital. He received a BA in humanities summa cum laude from the University of Texas in Austin, where he gave the baccalaureate address.
For more than 32 years, Ornish has directed clinical research demonstrating, for the first time, that comprehensive lifestyle changes may begin to reverse even severe coronary heart disease, without drugs or surgery. He directed the first randomized, controlled trial demonstrating that comprehensive lifestyle changes may stop or reverse the progression of early-stage prostate cancer. His research showed that comprehensive lifestyle changes affect gene expression, "turning on" disease-preventing genes and "turning off" genes that promote cancer and heart disease. In collaboration with Nobel laureate Elizabeth Blackburn, PhD, he also showed that these lifestyle changes can lengthen telomeres, the ends of chromosomes that control how long we live.
He is the author of six best-selling books, including New York Times' bestsellersDr. Dean Ornish's Program for Reversing Heart Disease; Eat More, Weigh Less;Love & Survival; and his most recent book, The Spectrum.
The research that he and his colleagues conducted has been published in theJournal of the American Medical Association, The Lancet, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Circulation, TheNew England Journal of Medicine, the American Journal of Cardiology, The Lancet Oncology, and elsewhere.
